Parents Association


There has been a very active and vibrant Parents Association in Castleplunkett NS. The Parents association is a very important cornerstone in the education process. They work in partnership with the Principal and the Board of Management to build effective partnerships between school and home. The Parent Association is the structure through which parents/guardians in a school can work together for the best possible education for their children. The Education Act, 1998 sets down the role of the Parent Association.

The Parents Association undertake many important fundraising events in order to further support and provide funding for their children's school activities. These activities include: School trips, Computer classes, bus for swimming lessons and many other activities over the years.

The 2020/2021 Parents Association committee are as follows:
