Castleplunkett National School

Castleplunkett N.S is a Catholic, co-educational school in rural Co. Roscommon under the patronage of the Bishop of Elphin . We are located in the village of Castleplunkett which is 11km east of Castlerea town and 7km west of Tulsk.  We have three mainstream teachers and one SET teacher.

Our school nurtures each child’s emotional, social and academic development. Thanks to our rural setting a strong sense of community exists among the school management, parents and staff. A happy, welcoming, inclusive atmosphere is the hallmark of Castleplunkett N.S
